Brittany Madderra and Lucio Maldonado Elected to Corr Cronin’s Partnership

Corr Cronin is pleased to announce that attorneys Brittany Madderra and Lucio Maldonado have been elected to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2025.

Brittany Madderra’s practice focuses on complex litigation, mass torts, and products liability matters for clients ranging from local businesses and government entities to large international corporations. A skillful advocate, Brittany has an exceptional ability to identify critical legal issues that enable clients to prevail on appeal. Brittany frequently represents manufacturers, retailers, distributors, owners, and consumers involved in products liability litigation in state and federal courts. She also handles a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, contractual disputes, and employment law, often involving discrimination or harassment claims, employment policies, and workplace injuries. Since 2024, Brittany has been recognized by Best Lawyers in the fields of Commercial Litigation, Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants, and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants.

Brittany graduated from University of Washington School of Law and served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Catherine Shaffer at the King County Superior Court before entering private practice.

“Corr Cronin is delighted to welcome Brittany Madderra to the firm’s partnership. Brittany’s exceptional advocacy in complex litigation, mass torts, and products liability consistently delivers outstanding results for our diverse clientele. We look forward to her continued success, both in helping clients navigate challenging legal issues and in shaping the future of our firm,” said Blake Marks-Dias, Corr Cronin’s Co-Managing Partner.

Lucio Maldonado’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, mass toxic tort and product liability defense, and appellate law. While litigating a broad range of matters for individuals, small local businesses, and Fortune 500 companies alike, he is consistently recognized for employing solution-oriented approaches to complex litigation, favoring results over unnecessary disputes.

Super Lawyers has recognized Lucio in Business Litigation each year since 2022. In 2022, he was featured in Puget Sound Business Journal’s inaugural Next Gen In Law section, which spotlights the best of the region’s up and coming lawyers who are helping the business community thrive. In 2023, he was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as One to Watch for Commercial Litigation – an accolade he earned again in 2024, along with being recognized in two additional practice areas: Appellate Practice and Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants. In 2024, the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington honored Lucio with its New Lawyer Award.

Lucio graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law and then clerked for the Honorable Steven González of the Washington Supreme Court. He sits on the board of the Joint Minority Mentorship Program, and largely credits his work ethic to long, hot days working on his family’s farm in Eastern Washington.

Emily Harris, Corr Cronin’s Co-Managing Partner says: “Lucio Maldonado is a tremendous addition to the partnership. As the youngest attorney to ever join the Corr Cronin partnership, he is part of the foundation of the future for the firm. He brings an innate understanding of complex legal issues to every challenge, is a true team player and is highly responsive to his client’s needs. We are so proud to welcome Lucio Maldonado into the partnership.”

Congratulations, Brittany and Lucio!
