Whitney Passmore Joins Corr Cronin as Partner

Corr Cronin is proud to welcome Whitney Passmore as its newest partner—a dynamic addition whose nearly two decades of litigation experience, both in federal service and private practice.

Whitney served most recently as Deputy Chief of the Civil Division in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington. In that role, she oversaw litigation spanning employment discrimination, medical malpractice, civil rights, immigration, FOIA, and False Claims Act cases—frequently steering high-stakes matters through every stage of litigation.

Prior to her tenure in public service, Whitney practiced at Womble Bond Dickinson, where she developed a strong track record in mass tort and product liability matters involving complex scientific and medical issues, as well as corporate regulatory compliance. Complementing her professional achievements, Whitney is committed to pro bono work, having served as appellate counsel for guardians ad litem in cases involving abused and neglected children.

Whitney began her legal career clerking for U.S. District Judge N. Carlton Tilley in North Carolina, and holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Wake Forest University School of Law as well as a B.A. in French Language & Literature and Religious Studies from University of Virginia.

Welcoming Whitney to the partnership not only strengthens Corr Cronin’s litigation bench but also underscores the firm’s enduring commitment to sophisticated advocacy, trial excellence, and public-service values.
