Corr Cronin is pleased to announce that Colin George and Maia Robbins have been elected to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2026.
Colin George is a seasoned trial attorney whose practice spans the full spectrum of civil litigation. He has extensive experience representing government entities in complex and constitutional litigation and advising businesses and individuals in disputes involving contracts, consumer protection, employment, and white-collar defense. Before joining Corr Cronin, Colin served in the Civil Division of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where he worked in the Government Affairs Litigation and Appeals unit. His background also includes founding and managing a seven-attorney firm, serving as a trial attorney for the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho, practicing in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis, and serving as an extern for the Litigation Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable John C. Coughenour in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Maia Robbins’ practice encompasses a broad range of white collar criminal defense and civil litigation matters. She has successfully defended clients facing felony charges including wire fraud, mail fraud, money laundering, environmental crimes, False Claims Act violations, and more. She represents clients in civil and criminal government investigations at both the state and federal level. She also represents clients in high-stakes products liability, personal injury, and business litigation issues, and assists clients with navigating noncompetition laws. She has significant experience litigating matters in various administrative tribunals.
Maia also devotes significant effort to pro bono advocacy, with special interests in animal and reproductive rights. Prior to joining Corr Cronin, she clerked for the Honorable Edward F. Shea in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and gained early federal judicial experience as a two-time extern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch each year since 2023.
