Washington’s new noncompete rules are already having a national impact, especially as employees are increasingly working remotely. A Corr Cronin client’s matter was recently covered in The Washington Post, outlining some of the complex issues that arise out of noncompetes for both employees and employers: when a Washington resident moved from one job to another, his former employer sued him in Illinois.
